Safety Norms in the School Bus

We place utmost importance on the safety and security of children traveling in our school buses. All buses are operated by authorized private contractors with proven experience and a strong understanding of RTO safety norms.

Our buses are driven by licensed drivers with a minimum of 5 years of experience in operating heavy vehicles. Each bus is accompanied by two trained lady attendants, assigned to specific routes with dedicated mobile numbers to ensure consistency and accountability.

The attendants maintain discipline and report directly to the School Principal and Transport Department. Both drivers and attendants undergo regular training to ensure smooth and secure transport operations.

All school buses are equipped with CCTV cameras, GPS tracking systems (accessible to parents), and speed governors to prevent overspeeding.

Additionally, a Transport Committee is formed in each school, including the Principal, Admin/Transport Officers, selected parents, and representatives from the RTO, Traffic Police, and Local Authorities to oversee transportation safety.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Bus Driver:

The driver must lead by example, practice good driving habits, maintain a respectful attitude, and avoid favoritism to ensure discipline. Drivers must hold a valid heavy vehicle license with a minimum of 5 years' experience, avoid aggressive driving, and practice defensive techniques.

Regular training sessions will be held by the school to enhance driver performance and safety awareness.

Responsibilities of the Lady Attendants:

Each bus has two lady attendants responsible for student discipline during travel. They are authorized to assign seats and report any misconduct to the School Principal. They also have fixed mobile numbers assigned per route, shared with parents for emergencies.

Responsibilities of Students and Guardians:

Guardians must ensure their children reach the pickup point on time. In case of delay, the responsibility of getting the student to school lies with them. Students must behave responsibly, keep the bus clean, and report any misconduct.

If no one is available to pick up the student at drop-off, the attendant will return the child to the school, and guardians will be accountable for any resulting issues.
